Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using JustDownSize (https://justdownsize.com) operated by JustDownSize ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using JustDownSize, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

JustDownSize provides free, browser-based image processing tools including image compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, and editing. All image processing occurs locally in your web browser. We do not upload, store, or process your images on our servers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use JustDownSize only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not use our Service to:

  • Process or distribute images that contain child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any illegal content
  • Process images that violate another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights without authorization
  • Process images for the purpose of harassment, defamation, or harm to any individual
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
  • Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access or abuse the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, overload, or impair it

4. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the images you process using JustDownSize. We claim no intellectual property rights over your images.

The JustDownSize website, its design, code, branding, and content are owned by JustDownSize and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our website content without written permission.

5. No Warranty

JustDownSize is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. We strongly recommend keeping backups of your original images before processing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JustDownSize shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or image files
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Any damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, since the Service is free, shall be $0).

7. Tool Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or the entire Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Some tools rely on third-party JavaScript libraries (such as heic2any, face-api.js, browser-image-compression). The availability and functionality of these tools may be affected by changes to these third-party libraries, which are outside our control.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses third-party libraries, CDNs, and services including Bootstrap, Google Fonts, jsDelivr CDN, Google AdSense, and Google Analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services.

9. Advertising

JustDownSize displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense to fund our free service. You may not use ad-blocking software in a way that violates the ad networks' terms. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, to understand our practices.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where JustDownSize is registered.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
