How to Use the Online Notepad

Yes — the notepad is fully responsive and works on phones and tablets. On small screens, the sidebar is hidden by default and can be accessed via the sidebar toggle.
How many notes can I create?
There's no hard limit set by us. The practical limit is your browser's localStorage quota (typically 5–10 MB per site), which is enough for thousands of text notes.
Can I use this as a temporary online notepad?
Absolutely. You can use it as a quick temp notepad — paste text, copy from it, and either save the note or delete it. Notes persist in localStorage until you explicitly delete them or clear browser data.
Is there a word count limit?
No. You can write notes of any length. The word count, character count, and reading time update in real time regardless of note length.
Can I sync notes across devices?
Notes are stored locally per device, not synced across devices. To move a note to another device, use Download .txt, email the file to yourself, and open it there. Cloud sync is not offered to preserve your privacy.
