What Is the Kohi Click Test?

The Kohi Click Test is a clicks-per-second (CPS) speed test originally popularized by the Minecraft PvP server Kohi (later acquired by BadLion Network). Players used the Kohi Click Test to train their mouse clicking speed before entering competitive PvP combat on the server.

The test works identically to any CPS test — you click a target area as fast as possible within a timer — but the Kohi branding signals its purpose: Minecraft PvP training. It remains one of the most searched click-speed tests online.

Why Is CPS Important in Minecraft PvP?

In Minecraft Java Edition, each click registers a hit in combat. Higher CPS means you can deal more attacks per second, giving a direct advantage in PvP fights. Key facts:

For classic PvP servers running 1.7/1.8 mechanics, the Kohi-style CPS test is directly relevant to improving your combat performance.

How to Improve Your Kohi Click Test Score

Improving CPS for Minecraft PvP involves both hardware and technique:

Is the Kohi Server Still Active?

The original Kohi Minecraft server was merged into BadLion Network around 2015. BadLion later shut down as a separate server. However, the Kohi Click Test name lives on as a popular search term and CPS benchmark, particularly in the Minecraft PvP community. Our Kohi Click Test preserves the classic gaming aesthetic while offering modern timer options and instant results.

Kohi vs Standard CPS Test — What's the Difference?

Both tests measure the same thing: clicks per second. The difference is theme and community context. Our CPS Test has a clean, general-purpose design; the Kohi Click Test uses a dark gaming aesthetic to signal its Minecraft PvP context. Both use the same accurate JavaScript timing engine.

Frequently Asked Questions

For classic 1.7/1.8 PvP, 8–12 CPS is competitive. Above 12 CPS is considered advanced, typically achieved through jitter or butterfly clicking. For modern 1.9+ PvP, timing your swings correctly matters more than raw CPS.

Drag clicking means dragging your finger across the mouse button to generate friction, registering multiple clicks per stroke. It can achieve 25–35 CPS but most Minecraft servers ban it via anticheat (since it produces unnatural click patterns).

The original Kohi server was absorbed into BadLion Network around 2015, and BadLion eventually shut its Minecraft server. However, BadLion Client (anticheat launcher) remains popular. The "Kohi Click Test" is now primarily a community benchmark term, not tied to any active server.

Mice with lighter actuation force and faster double-click registration tend to score higher. Popular choices in the Minecraft PvP community include: Glorious Model O, Razer Viper Mini, and Logitech G Pro. Optical switches (Razer, Glorious) actuate faster than mechanical ones.
