Remove and mount the hub assembly
- The first step will require you to remove and mount the hub assembly to the towing vehicle. Slide the two-inch ball mount through the hub assembly into the receiver. You will then need to secure it with the hitch pin.
Tighten the ball mounts and clamp bolts
- The next step is to tighten the ball mounts, you can tighten the ball mounts with your hands.
- Use a 5/8 socket to tighten the clamp bolts evenly.
- Tighten up the jam nuts on both sides. This will help to prevent the ball mount clamp bolts from loosening due to vibration.
Add the trim plates to the mudflaps

- Place cardboard below while cutting the flaps to protect your tools and the flaps.
Fix the flap claps
- You will need to fix the flap claps to the mudflaps. These flap clamps have a round hole and a square hole. Make sure that the squire hole is facing the front of the flaps.
- Use the clamp blots that are provided and start by installing these bolts from the end and work your way to the top. Repeat the same process from the other flap.
Install the flap support rods
- The easiest way is to swing the hub arm down and push the flap support rod through the hole. Make sure that the arm clamp bolts are loose to slide the rod through. Repeat the same process for the other hub arm.
Install the mudflaps
- The flap support rods have holes based on the type of vehicle. Slide the mudflaps onto the rod and adjust them according to your preference or where you want them to be. Just be sure to keep the flaps two inches outside of your tire.
- Push the flap retaining bolt through the holes in the flap support rods and secure them with the 5/16 socket.
- Tighten up the mudflap clamp bolts with a 13 mm socket. Be sure to double-check for any final adjustments.
- Next, you will need to take the 27 mm socket and tighten the arm pit bolts. The last step will be to install the end caps.
