Past issues and recalls of the Grand Surveyor Travel Trailers:
- Grand Surveyor 2018: On some trailers, the sliding room refrigerator does not have a cyclic fan. This could cause the refrigerator to overheat, which could cause the cooling tubes to fail. This could increase the risk of a fire injuring someone or damaging property.
Solution: Dealers will need to install a fan.
- Grand Surveyor 2017-2018: A 30 amp circuit breaker was installed in error during the manufacture of some trailers. The circuit breaker that should have been installed is a 15 A circuit breaker. Due to this error, the circuit breaker wire cannot withstand the amperage, which could cause it to melt and increase the risk of a fire causing personal injury and damage. property damage.
Solution: Dealers will install a new 15A circuit breaker instead.

Recalls of the Surveyor Legend:
- Surveyor Legend 2016-2017: In some trailers, the certification, tire pressure and maximum load label do not indicate the correct tire size and maximum load. The label should include the following information: ST205 / 75R14C tire size, 14X5.5JJ rims, and maximum inflation pressure of 50 PSI. Incorrect pressure could cause tire failure, which could result in loss of vehicle control and increase the risk of a crash that could result in injury or property damage.
Solution: New labels will be mailed to owners with instructions on how to properly affix them.
- Surveyor Legend 2016: On some travel trailers, cables from the general circuit outlets may have been misrouted. As a result, the outlet may experience overcurrent, which could cause an electric arc and increase the risk of electric shock or electrocution to its user.
