Models: Crossroads Cruiser 2020

On certain fifth-wheel trailers, the heater exhaust vent may be missing. Safety Risks: If the heater is operated without an exhaust vent, carbon monoxide could enter the trailer, which could lead to asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Models: Crossroads Hampton & Sunset 2020

In certain conventional trailers, the emergency hitch brake switch may be incorrectly wired. If the trailer separates from a tow vehicle, the trailer brakes will not apply automatically.

Safety Risk: If the hitch breaker switch malfunctions, there could be an increased risk of an accident.

Models: Dutchmen Aerolites 2018-2019

The capacity of the safety chain installed on certain trailers does not exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Should the trailer become detached from the vehicle, this safety chain could break and the trailer could separate from the vehicle completely, increasing the risk of a collision causing injury or property damage.

Model: Summerland 2019

In some conventional trailers, the metal bracket used to secure the propane tank may have been improperly manufactured, so the tank could come loose, posing a road hazard and causing a fire or explosion resulting in personal injury and/or property damage.

Models: Cougar 2017-2018

On certain caravans, the manual stabilizer jacks attached to the chassis frame may have been improperly installed and could loosen or come off and fall while the caravan is in motion, which could present a hazard and increase the risk of an accident that could result in personal injury and property damage.

Model: Dutchmen Voltage 2015-2016, Keystone Cougar 2015, Keystone Carbon, Fuzion, Impact and Raptor 2015-2016

On certain fifth-wheel trailers equipped with a Christianson Industries outdoor folding ladder, the ladder mounting bracket may separate from the hinge due to poor welding. If the ladder were to separate from the vehicle while using it, it could result in personal injury or property damage.

Model: Cougar 2017

In some conventional caravans, the floor fasteners may have come into contact with the tubular cross member of the propane cylinder during assembly. If so, the propane manifold could have been damaged, which could cause a leak.

Leaking propane in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire resulting in injury or property damage.

Models: Sprinter 2016

In some trailers equipped with a 55 ”Haier TV (Model 55E2500), the bracket on the back of the TV may not be strong enough. As a result, the television could fall from the wall of the caravan and strike a nearby occupant, with the risk of injury.
